“Why Time Flies” When You Age

Armand F. Lewis

Abstract

In this essay, the author suggests that the premise of “Why Time Flies” when one ages is based on a ‘relativity’ phenomenon.  It is based on the rate of passage of a person’s internal brain/mind/body time clock (internal-self-time) relative to the flow of the external Earth-Time.  During old age, one’s internal time “clock” functions at a much slower rate compared to the speed of the Earth-Time clock.
