Were Ancient Sages Great Scientists?

Abstract

There are interesting examples in ancient Indian literature that appear to present data, information, and facts for which no instrumentation was available to measure in ancient times leading to the hypothesis that the sages would have had to “download” the information through meditation. The holographical principle from modern physics supports the plausibility of such discoveries. If additional investigations corroborate the hypothesis, then a powerful statement can be made about the power of mediation and its capacity to download new information towards the solution of challenging human problems.
