Personal Revelation (Part 2)

Abstract

This paper is based on a presentation given at the 4^th Biological Physics and Meaning (BPM) Mini Conference on “PERSONAL REVELATION, SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE & HUMAN POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT”, (September 2024).

Here we share more on ‘Revelatory Experiences’ and will explore and elaborate more deeply on:

(a)    Why science stops where revelatory experience begins,

(b)   The limitations of language in communicating revelatory experiences, and

(c)    The power of storytelling, presence and trust.

We will also highlight the limitations that religious dogmas impose on their followers, potentially hindering the possibility of their spiritual development, prophethood and sainthood, together with possible detrimental effects on individual inner peace, love for neighbor and social harmony. We will share some stories told by Kali Cooke and Carey Jackman during the 4^th BPM Mini Conference, to further illustrate meaningful synchronicities or, as we prefer to refer to these events, Divine Order. At the center of this mini conference, we will explore the question of ‘How can we connect with God?’
